HP-1 Firmware

Having same problems with the 2.04 firmware on the HP1 as most people have experienced tried to download the 2.03 version from a post on this site but no luck it will not open am I missing a step? any help greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

You should post this in the sticky for the HomePatrol-1 v2.4.01 released section. Click on the link to the last page of posts under that Thread you will see a post from "wmlovell" that has a link to download the 2.03.01 version to your computer. You will need to do the following:

So extract the file HomePatrol-1_V2_03_01.scn from the zip file by right clicking on it and choosing extract all, then copy the resulting SCN file to the firmware folder on the homepatrol's drive using windows explorer while you are connected to the homepatrol via USB cable. After you copy it there, and disconnect the usb cable, the homepatrol will reboot and install the firmware back to 2.03.

Not as hard as it looks/sounds...connect your HP to your PC, then copy the firmware file (HomePatrol-1_V2_03_01.scn) to the "FIRMWARE" folder directly on to the HP..Disconnect the HP, then wait...it will tell you it is updating ..DON'T turn it off while it is updating..Hope this helps
