HP-1 Lake Erie NS-Canada

I live on the north shore of lake Erie,almost across from Erie PA. My problem is my HP-! picks up, Erie,PA, Buff,NY, chatauqua NY, Niagra Falls but nothing arround me on the Canadain side, have range set from 10- 30 miles, however i dont pick up Cayuga OPP or Hamilton, Ont PD, or anythng on this side of the border, my postal code is N0A 1P0 woderring if anyone can make suggeation? \thanks

Try putting your city as Stoney creek and giver a whirl

i have tried stoney creek, Peel regional PD,Toronto airport,Brampton taxi cab come up, no OPP which is based out of Cayuga less than 15 miles from me, no Hamilton ont PD or FD or EMS,which is at the most 30 miles from my location. i should be getting Fisher ville FD,ems, cayuga OPP Caledonia OPP,EMS,Hagersville EMS, they are all less than 15 miles from me? Ive tried small antenna, which came with the unit, currently i have a stand alone magnetic base . I have updated software as of yesterday, when i looked into available frequencies and services in my area , all were in data banks?
If you have any other suggestions all would be appreciated, and as i said im directly on the shoreline of Lake Erie.??
