HP-1 - no audio on active fed freq

Using an HP-1E with the beta firmware (v. 2.06.08 - I think). I am doing a limit search and it is repeatedly stopping on known fed freqs for my area, but there is no audio. I usually hear encryption if it is encrypted, so not sure what is going on here. Any ideas? Bad firmware? HP muting encryption?

If you're talking about P25, mine has always muted encryption. I may get a "blurp" or 2.
