HP-1 No audio reception after extreme upgrade.."Please Help"

Home Patrol - 1 I lost reception audio after installing Extreme Upgrade 2 days ago.
Firmware Version 2.01, Database Version 09/11/2011, Help Version 08/10/2011
I've been a avid SWL and radioman since the late 1960's. Please assist me, I am
not sure what I did to disable this functional receiver.(It worked before the Extreme
Upgrade) I love technology

Assuming that you've set up something to scan (full database or some favorites) did you remember to go in and select the service types you want to monitor? If you've done that, have you set the range and squelch back to what you had before the update?
