Uniden HP-1 scanner. stopping on scan, but cannot hear anything. Been quiet for a couple of days now. Same channel/different scanner has pleanty of volume on same talk group. what am I missing ?

Hi Wade, no mention of Favorites Lists? You use FLs or the whole DB?
yes was operating from a favorites list.
I went back to the scanner and checked every setting, I reset my location, made sure all service types were checked, reselected data base I wanted to monitor. When I restarted the scanner it started yacking up a storm again. I have no idea what I did to make it work. Guess that is why I love this hobby.
