Your SD card has been corrupted..... There is a very simple fix for that error.

Keep in mind that a brand new SD card (or a newly formatted card) will not work in your scanner until you use the "Clear User Data" function in Sentinel.

Connect the scanner to your computer in the "Mass Storage" mode with the new SD card installed. Be sure you have installed a fresh set of batteries or that you are on AC power. You may have to connect your scanner to the computer first before turning it on to get the scanner into Mass Storage mode.

When connected to your computer, from the top menu in Sentinel, click "Home Patrol", then "clear user data", then check the box that says "display all drives". If the SD card is showing up there, select it and finish the "clear user data" process and then "write" to the scanner from Sentinel to restore your data, disconnect the scanner from the computer and let it re-boot.

If the SD card doesn't show up in the step above, or if you still get the error message, try reformatting the card using Windows with a card reader connected to your computer.... best to format using this program if errors continue:

www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

and then go back to the "clear user data" step above.

I am not a fan of Sentinel as it needs a major overhaul.... But what I have done is using an micro-SD card reader/formatter and I made a back copy on my computer in a dedicated folder... Now when & if the micro-SD card gets corrupted, pull it out and reformat it and copy the back-up file. And when U update the micro-SD card simply copy over this file to the backup folder.

Just my $0.02.. ;)
