Activating Sentinel I can see a list of departments but can't see their conventional frequencies, is there a way to open Sentinel to see the conventional frequencies I have programmed in my HP-1?

Is there a way to program conventional frequencies into Sentinel and upload them to my HP-1?

Yes to both.

If you are looking at either favorites lists or the full database just keep drilling down on the tree. For conventional systems it ends on the frequency. For trucked systems you drill down from system to dept to talkgroup.

To program conventional frequencies, two ways.

First is to drill down through the full database selecting the conventional frequencies you want and appending them to a favorites list to upload to your scanner. Most frequencies are in the database and this is easiest.

In the case that the conventional frequency you want is not in the database you can create a favorites list and then edit the favorites list and add it in. The first is easiest but both are pretty straight forward.

Thank you for your response, yes, took you advice and I am able to drill into the tree to obtain frequencies for the master data base but not my own favorite. When I drill into my favorite list I can only obtain the lat longs for the transmitter, must have a setting wrong somewhere eh?

Attached grab shows info from a FL. It is both an example of conventional analogue and an example of a TRS, both with frequencies showing in Sentinel.

You should be able to drill down the same in favorites lists as you do the database above.

You can't change stuff that way though, so I always go into favorites lists by clicking on the list and then clicking on the star with the pen at top (edit favorites list). Going in this way allows you to makes changes, and see every setting.

Thank you both, I completely understand your messages. I am able to drill into the HP1 Data base for frequency and talk group ID information but not my own favorite. When I drill into my own favorite list to the point where I should get frequency or talk group information that page goes blank.

Can you export your FL as an HPE and have someone look at it?

Is this conventional or trunked?

Well everyone I knew something was wrong when I checked my HP1 help file and didn't have one. Reloaded the firmware , now 2.05, data date 4/26/15, help version 12/7/11 and everything is working fine now.

Thank you for your time.
