HP-1 & Suffolk County NY new trucked system.

Is the HP-1 able to scan & decode the new 700/800 Suffolk County system. My HP-2 has no issues but my HP-1 is seems to be deaf to the police & town & village TG’s.

The HP-1 is not TDMA capable.

I’m in western Suffolk County on the south shore. My HP1 has no problem picking up the SC P2 system. I clearly hear all SCPD , NYS Park PD , Medcom and everything else. As far as towns and villages go , I get town of Brookhaven public safety , Northport Village PD , Patchogue Village public safety , Town of Babylon Public Safety. Have you updated firmware and database lately ?

The HP-1 can only pick up mode "D" talkgroups on the system. But simulcast distortion may be an issue on any of the named simulcasts if within range of two or more towers

6st pct is coming in loud and clear here in western Suffolk. I can hear them on HP1 & SDS100

Turn on Attenuation. I had the same issue some years ago.
