I have heard the dispatcher give the trooper a sequence number ( ex. sequence 152) and then the time after a wreck. Just wondering what that was.

Basically just an incident report number for tracking purposes....
Hope this helps!

Re: Report Time & Sequence

Sequence numbers are assigned to any call for assistance received
by each radio station throughout the state. Each Troop Radio Station
carries its own sequence numbers. The sequence number will begin
at midnight as 001 and will continue until 2359 Hours. For example,
a wreck requiring a report by a trooper will be given the info as:
Sequence 123, and 10-34 (time received) 1542 Hrs.
