HP1 Extreme Upgrade question

I am semi-new to scanning and am hoping you guys can help.

It says on the HP website (link below) that you can hook up the HP to the computer and stream audio and data, is that correct? I havent seen any other posts about it.

What software would you need to do that?(other than the upgrade)
Is there Software I could control the scanner remotely?
If I stream my scanner that way to my phone, Is there an App for that?
How would I be able to view the tags while streaming?

I already have it set up for streaming using Scannercast and have VPN installed to check the computer, however I am looking for a way to stream, control and view the scanner /tags on my IPhone, is that possible?

Hi.

You can stream audio from the HP-1 via the USB cable that comes with it. The USB cable is dual purpose-for software control via Sentinel and for steaming audio with for example Windows Media Player.

I dont know about remote control of the HP-1 as I dont do that. Check out Butel Software as they might have the software that you could use for your purposes. I have the retail version of ARC-PATROL for programming my HP-1 and for the most part I like ARC-PATROL.
