Neither the HP-1 or HP-2 have the option to set up a priority channel.That lack as well as no quick keys, search function, and Close Calls are among the features the HP-1 & 2 do not have, but are available in the x36HP series.

With the extreme feature, the HP1 and HP2 have one of the best search features of any scanner, called discovery, with all sorts of logging and recording functions.
