Hearing the tone outs but not the operations channels. Tried contacting the feed provider but it just loops back to the feed on Broadcastify app or the web site. Trying to contact the feed provider.

Hey, that would be me, and I've noticed the same thing, very rarely do I get anything on the talk groups. (just now while typing there a was a quick message on OPs 2 lol, first I've seen in a while). All the TGs listed are programmed/monitored.

I thought it was because of my location or the tower I receive from, but after doing some digging, it looks like all the radios are now encrypted or soon to be (see the link below), so I guess anything I do receive is either a radio that hasn't been upgraded, or some kind of situation where the encryption fails, or they are in analog mode or something.

Thanks for submitting a report anyways, I appreciate it. I guess I should add a note to the feed page, as you are not the only one to report this.

Hey, in our new fire department radios they added central to the talkgroups. HRM will now be using central A and B Like the rest of the province uses West A and B, etc.
For now they have patched the new encrypted Dispatch talkgroup to the old so we can use both old and new radios. On Nov 22 the old radios will stop working so then I figure they'll take out the patches. They did NOT patch the old to new ops talkgroups. I think they gave out the new radios to HRM first so it could be that they are using only the new ones so then everything would be encrypted because there was no central talkgroups before so there is no patch for that one. If they are using the new ones they would also be using the new encrypted ops talkgroups. I sent in all the new fleetmap ID's to radio reference so they will be posted in the next week or so. Then people will be able to link talkgroup ID's to encrypted talkgroups around them.

Thanks for the information, and submitting the fleet maps as well @fordman2006, I really appreciate it! Do you know if they have any plans for the paging system? Hopefully that isn't changing any time soon?

@west5alpha and @Jason_wyler got your reports, thanks guys!

Do you guys think its worth it to separate it into 2 feeds? VHF paging (+ other analog services) on one, and MPSRN on the other (with transit etc)?

I've got a second radio that would cover paging and analog systems like gsar, just trying to think of the best setup and not sure its worth it to have both. Whats traffic like on the transit ops and other related/similar TGs? Any other requests like Harbour traffic or something? Bridge patrol? I'm open to suggestions, assuming they fall within Broadcastify rules.

the Traffic on Transit ops is really busy with all of the drivers having issue on there busses and the ferry terminal the transit supervisors gets lot of calls for that so it definitely a busy talkgroup

Hey guys, I had some time tonight (plus it was pretty quiet) to get things added. I got pretty much everything you guys listed talkgroup, and station wise I think. Check out the feed details for more info : HRM Fire Radio and VHF Paging Live Audio Feed

Not sure I will pick everything up, but it's worth a shot

I just checked it out and i see you do have Transit Ops that would be mine Best thing to listen to so i am just waiting to hear them is there a chance you would be able to pick them up ?

I just checked it out and i see you do have Transit Ops that would be mine Best thing to listen to so i am just waiting to hear them is there a chance you would be able to pick them up ?
you know another thing you could try i seen it onther feeds is called live calls that should be able to pick up everything we reuested it

i will attach a link about it so you could try that as well :)

Broadcastify-Calls - The RadioReference Wiki.

here is the Link on how live calls work i am 100% that should be able to pick up all of the TG would you be wiling to give this a try :)

this is a example of live Calls for my area so i think that it work best to get all of the Talkgroups to work :)

it seem to be working really good for my area so im thinking it should work well for you too :)

Broadcastify Calls is different from regular broadcastify feeds as the calls platform captures every single call on a conventional or trunked system, as individual call files, and makes those calls available[1] in real time and in archives. The Broadcastify Calls platform is not intended to replace regular Broadcastify audio streams at this time, but to supplement them, and we will eventually create Broadcastify audio streams from the Broadcastify Calls platform.

Broadcastify Calls makes available to call ingest providers ALL calls they send to us, but limits public access to calls covered by our Feed Provider Terms of Service

Broadcastify Calls Features includes:

  • 30 day retention
  • duplicate call handling
  • Live Call Playback
  • Playlists Playback
  • tight integration with the RadioReference database
  • call and source detailed statistics

as it says in the description it captures every single call on Trunked and Conventional system so this is 100% the way to go for Listing to the talkgroups please give it a try then we can all be happy and enjoy listing

you need to create a playlist with the Live calls then it should be good with Transit Ops fire Emo intercop ect

@west5alpha i told him to do a live calls for the Talkgroups we requested i have that in my area and it pick up every call on in my area on trunk system and coventional so we should be in Luck with the live calls :)
