Don't know how well it would work, but it sure looks cool.

Would work great from 13.6 to about 40.8, maybe to 54.4 with some degradation.

So-so to 80 or 100, and like a random collection of metal above that.

I see it's mounted on a trailer, try being inconspicuous driving down the road while monitoring with that monstrosity. :lol:

Some people seems to think that a huge chunk of metal in the air makes a better antenna than something small and properly tuned for the freqs you're listening to. This would seem to be a classic example. I'll take the trailer without the antenna attached to the mast.

Something about that picture looks phony. Looks cut and pasted or digitaly imposed. I may be wrong but look close.

Actually,I think it is pretty legit.

I saw this same setup on e-bay a while back,different background(scenery,trees,ect.) - same price too!

If you get one,let us know how well it works,and,maybe post us a pic or two of it on your roof!(tripod mast mount ought to do the trick!)LOL
