HUMC EMS Operations

While doing some research on my new MCI for plan for work I found out some interesting information. HUMC EMS does do street BLS for Garfield and will respond if requested to any MCI's. Anyway they use repeater channel of 463.450 with the DPL of 156. (Confirmed) Seems to be low power however while monitoring here in Hudson County, They also use Nextels as will and are also dispatched to some jobs by MICCOM on 155.175 PL of 100.0 there HUMC EMS ambulance Id's are in the 130 series, 130, 131 132, 133 etc etc. My source also told my they DO NOT use a LTR system. Hope this helps to solve the HUMC mystery once and for all.

So Hackensack University Medical Center EMS has taken over day time Garfield coverage from Rural Metro, or do they back them up?

Only sharing what information I obtained from MICCOM last week whie working on my MCI plan for North Arlington.

One thing about there operation they hae all new stuff and I wish them well.

Although this is hosted at www.shareholder.com, I found it by going to www.ruralmetro.com and following links to search their press releases so it should be reliable.
