For those of you who couldn't make it to see the famed Hurricane Hunter, the NWS will display their less known research vehicle, the "Small Wind Gust Hunter" at the Timonium Fairgrounds this weekend. It is a retro-fitted Dodge Dart, equipped with a CB radio, a used thermometer and a Sam's Club rain gauge and has been wowing crowds in West VA for over a decade now. Visits by appointment only.
