I went to the beach today thought too see 5-10 foot waves its barely 3 feet with NE-ENE winds. I took a few pictures people at the beach birds flying around and a surfer. It was about 20+mph winds around 230pm. I took a few pictures and posted on this site http://www.flickr.com/photos/suwannee_river24/

Sorry for the interuption in my stream from Fort Myers. I normally set the max connections to 20. When I saw it get busy... I upped it to 30. By that time we had lost power. I do have 12 hours of battery time and a generator after that. The power was back on in just over 2 hours... but my Comcast Internet connection also failed. No TV or Internet for 2 days. They finally restored my connection around 6 PM on Wed.

Looks like my area might get slammed again. I went in town to video tape and take some pictures of the storm rolling by. The eye hit the county south of me I know some people down in Flagler County.

Fay passed through Alabama last night. I woke up this morning and looked out the living room window to see branches pressed firmly up against the window. Turns out, sometime during the night it rained pretty hard, got windy, and a tall chestnut tree(75ft at least) fell up a hill in the backyard and landed on our house. Amazingly from what I can see it did no damage; it slowed down enough from falling uphill before it hit to not do anything. I have heard many calls to the local FD about trees on houses, cars, and power lines. I actually feel lucky, but unfortunately more is still on the way.

Now we have rain
