The H-Q Moto 3.6k control channel on 142.380 is a fairly regular visitor
here during warmer months. Odd that I never hear the Fleetnet Pembroke
CC on the same frequency. Recently, I've heard a P25 CC on this frequency.

Huntingdon has two H-Q sites, VHF (System 4e2a) and 800MHz (what used
to be System 4d08, now P25 according to DB).

Anyone know what's happening? Is H-Q converting all to P25, or has this
become a RENIR site (or systems could be merging?).

Hello,

This is sad because I have Dx almost all of the HQ sites except for the ones west of Ottawa over the years. :( I wanted to log all the sites.

But on the bright side I have some new P25 systems to monitor when I go up to Montreal in August.

I have to ask. Is this system mostly French? Or is there any English on it? I'd like to try an program it to see what I can come up with, I was doing a frequency search one night, and I heard french on one of the frequencies associated to it.

Hello,

I have only heard French or hours of no activity during the brief times I have listened. Trunker could decode the control channel even if I could not understand what there were saying on the voice channel.
