Uniden 436HP in trunk mode can't find LCN. It only searches for Motorola systems. The problem has been known for a long time.
Should we expect a fix?
Why doesn't it work on Hayter's systems?

I had a Hytera DT3 system some 5-6 years ago with several sites that worked fine to track but I can't remember if I actually used the LCN finder on them. I probably just used the LCN calculator from @thewraith2008 to get the LCN's after getting the LCN/LSN number of other sites control channels from DSDplus.

What's happening, it never finds any LCN's even when there are conversations on those channels on that site you have chosen?

I asked a similar question last year, and here's the response from another member. There is a link to another thread in one of the posts. It seems as setting LCN to 0 is a work around.

In those other links people are trying to scan trunked systems using conventional digital scanning. You can't do that as the scanning will stop on the periodic beacon signal or the constant control channel data and you'll have to use OFT system type and program all frequencies there to have it ignore the control channel data. But it will of course not trunk track if not using the MotoTRBO system type, that needs LCN's.
