I 1065 no work

I thought I would be a smart guy and factory reset the scanner, I had it programmed for my county here in WI and after the reset, I cannot find the radio and now I get the popup no response from scanner any ideas???

If you used 0 and 1 to reset the scanner, that erases the working memory and your programming is gone. You need to reprogram the scanner. Using 0 and 2 will reset the scanner to defaults without erasing the programming. What is displayed on the scanner screen when you turn it on?

Yes, I understand but why can I not program the scanner I did it the same way I did the first time with Win500 and all I get is cannot find the scanner Do I need a driver for the USB chord? When I save the conventional freq I want also the trunking freq then import next done and then I use the scanner tab and tell it to upload and that is when I get the popup cannot find the scanner.
