From Greeley Tribune:

An unlicensed 16-year-old driver rolled a car near Keenesburg Saturday morning, ejecting and seriously injuring herself and hurting a 19-year-old female passenger and the 19-year-old’s 2 year old son.

Sgt. John Hahn, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol, said the rollover — which happened about 9:40 a.m. Saturday — happened after the driver let her 1995 blue Ford sedan drift into the median on eastbound I-76 and over-corrected back into traffic, flipping the car on the right side of the road.

The driver, whose name was being withheld, was in serious condition Saturday afternoon after being airlifted to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Her injuries are not expected to be life threatening, though she will be charged with careless driving causing injury, driving without a license and child abuse.

The 19-year-old woman passenger sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to Denver Health with her 2-year-old son who was properly restrained in a car seat and had only minor injuries from the crash. Their names are also being withheld by the State Patrol because of the child abuse charge, Hahn said.

The three are all from the Sterling area, he said.
