Mahad M. Mohamed, 31, of Fort Morgan died instantly of injuries suffered in a one-vehicle rollover accident west of Fort Morgan on Sunday about 10:30 p.m.
His SUV was heading eastbound on Interstate 76 when it drifted off the slick road, came back onto the highway, went off again, rotated counter-clockwise and rolled three times near mile post 74, west of Long Bridge Road, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Mohamed was the driver and he was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover, according to the Morgan County Coroner's Office.
Passengers Sahro Farah, 25, and Samira Abdievad Muhamed, 1, both of Fort Morgan, were transported to Colorado Plains Medical Center by ambulance.
The Colorado State Patrol, the Fort Morgan Fire Department, the Morgan County Sheriff's Department and the coroner's office all responded to the accident.
