In the 19 years here I have never had a problem logging in. Today I did. The forum would let me log in for a few minutes like it has now so I'm able to write this message as it only keeps me logged in for minutes. Same for broadcastify. I tried to send an email to support@radioreference.com but I was told it was an invalid address which it is. It is valid.

In a nutshell, I was able to log into the forum for about 15 minutes, I officially changed my email address and I did a password change but with my old email address multiple attempts to do that never got a response so I changed my password and it works on the Forum and broadcastify for minutes only. Any help from the administrators?

This suggestion may help. Clear your browsers cache. I had issues with the database map loading one time and clearing the cache made that problem go away.
Thank you for that, I appreciate it, I'm good about cleaning the cache of browsers, Google, YouTube. Wasn't much in the cache but this is a real Pia as I go in through the night and want to look at the Forum I have to log in every time even though I've asked to stay logged in.

Also RR is asking that I push my notifications and I have always pushed notifications forever.

This is also happening on broadcastify. When I want to go to my playlist when the fire whistle goes off I'm forced to log in every time.

As far as radio reference asking my permission to push all my notifications but not giving me a way to acknowledge their request, they can push whatever notifications they want but I went in and looked and I'm pretty sure all of my notifications are pushed. I don't want email notification, just at the top of the page next to the bell.

Whatever they need to do to fix this problem so that I can stay permanently logged in to the Forum and broadcasticy

Radio reference you have permission to push all my notifications, whatever will help this really inconvenient annoying problem. I did go in and look and they are all pushed as far as I can see.

I know it's the weekend but whatever you can do, to keep me permanently logged in to the Forum and broadcastify I would really appreciate it.. thanks guys.. Bob.

Now here's an oddball new event.. as long I was on the Forum participating in a thread or lurking it stayed online. I left RR for a few minutes then came back and was prompted to login, before I could do anything I got a message that the new email that I officially change today was not recognized, this is before I entered it or even attempt at a login. Then I got a message that said you are already logged in even though I wasn't and it prompted me to log in, press "here" and then I was logged in without even attempting to after a message it said my email was not recognized when I didn't even put it in. The new email and password were not Auto saved.

Just some interesting events that don't make any sense at all but might help the experts at RR.

Sunday morning update, broadcastify and forums will not stay logged in and I was asked again by radio reference to allow them to push my notifications. No way to give permission but I am giving them permission here to do whatever they've got to do to keep me logged in.

It's especially a problem when the fire whistle goes off and I want to go to my dispatch playlist on broadcastify, by the time I log in, the location and details of the call have already been given out.

Radio reference thank you for working on this problem and I will keep you updated if it is solved, so far nothing except that bizarre incident last night. You have permission to do whatever you have to do to my account that you have been asking to do.

Sounds to me like something is clearing your cookies. I would try a different browser and see how it acts.
I actually did do that and the problem was exactly the same. The nature of the problem just happening out of the blue using the same browser and email that I have been using forever and me not making any changes before the problem began leads me to think the problem is not on my end.

I will cooperate with radio reference however they want, I love using it and the loss of immediate access to my local dispatch playlist without logging in each time is a real loss.

Also I am in and out of RR all day and evening being retired and in failing health. It would great to remain logged in.

For the moment, I'm just leaving radio reference on. I will see if it logs itself off.

Thanks Kevin.

Are you not able to replay audio from said playlist? If I miss something on my playlists, I go to the specific talkgroup and replay what I missed.

Thank you, of course.. I understand, when I do login then I do hear the activity from the fire department that the whistle went off from, I can hear about five whistles sometimes more depending on conditions and of course, yes all I have to do is go back and replay audio to get the location and dispatch details but 99.9% of the time by the time I log in, the chief is already recalling the department, It doesn't matter if it was a water flow alarm, a patch of grass smoking, a dumpster smoking or a malfunctioning alarm.. 99% of the fire calls around here are nothing but every once in a while we get a good two alarmer.

Being a retired newspaper man I am not a fire buff but it's as close as you can come to situational awareness in my County since 2021.

Thank you however for your suggestion, if it's a working fire all the talk groups on the playlist will be active for the duration.

This post is for @blantonl or Lindsay.. I was able to read your email that was embedded and but I had no way of returning it or being able to answer your questions. I wrote you an email on the support email.

First of all regarding my saying administrative threat, that was a typo and meant to say administrative thread. I apologize to anyone about that typo.

I explained to you exactly what's going on that just popped up out of the blue yesterday.

I explained about my visual impairment and that I use voice to text but I am unable to use that when signing in to RR, it is a long tedious process using a magnifying glass and for some reason I am being prompted to log in every time I come on radio reference or broadcastify. I would like to stay logged on permanently as I always have been.

If you could acknowledge somehow that you received my email explaining the issue in detail that would be appreciated. Given my visual impairment this is very important for me to correct this problem. Thank you.

What browser and Operating System are you using?
It's funny you should ask that as I have been working on this problem all day and right now that is the direction I am going in, twice now. I did try different browsers but now I'm going about it differently. I'm going to take a break now as I have to eat dinner and the Eagles are coming on but I am working on it.

I need a new browser that is going to accommodate high contrast viewing and other visual aids. Right now I am in the stage of seeing if a new browser will hold the login. If it holds the login then I need to look at accessibility high contrast options.

Nothing I did started this problem.. it just came out of the blue. I have the knowledge, I just don't have my eyes like they used to be anymore. I'll let people know what's going on. Thank you for the support Gary.
What Security Software are you running?

I'm using Knox buddy.. one of the things I was thinking about. I'm going to take a break now, then I will get back to it after I eat with the game in the background.

I'll check with you later, as that was one of my thoughts.

I'll say one thing I'm with chrome again instead of Samsung and it's not working right. A few years ago it wasn't working right, you see how your post got involved with Gary's Post and also the font is wonky so even if this stays logged in I'm not going to be able to use it as I'm having the same problems I had with chrome a few years ago.

Definitely abandoning Chrome whether it holds the login or not. Just not working right. I'm going to eat now. Thanks . I'll be back at this soon.

Next I will investigate a problem with possible cookies. Did that earlier but I will revisit it. Be back later.

Here's something that shows you I am really in a pickle. I went to log into RR support to look at my ticket and it will not accept my real email address or password. I've had it for tonight.

I use Firefox and have never experienced any real issues with RR or streaming on Broadcastify, aside from page loading errors. Hope you get this resolved soon.

I also use Firefox and never have issues.

Going back to the start, I'm curious because it wasn't made clear..are you logging into Broadcastify via web browser or using the app on your cell/tablet? I'm assuming that you tried both Broadcastify and RR on different devices and see if you have the same issue? This would tell you if the issue was on RR's end of things or a device issue on your end
