But when I just tried to post onto the news forum, a window popped up telling me that since i'm a new member, my first three posts must be approved by a mod.... what is up with that?

ok i jumped the gun due to aggravation and worry... i did not read the "details" of that forum..... I got it now... Sorry!
LOL........... I have never had the need to start a thread in there so I was clueless as to why i would be called a new member like that... From your response, I take it I'm not the first to get freaked out about receiving that message heheheh
