I am so excited!!!!!

I ordered my BCD396XT from Scannermaster today. It should be here on Friday. I can hardly wait. I have got the programming ready to go using Freescan and have been reading the manual. I had a 396T that I sold to buy the XT and I loved it. I have been following the threads on the XT really close and I know I am going to love it even more. Wish me luck!!

got freescan loaded with freqs.

Got mine last night and loving it...

Last my BCD396XT was setting at the front door waiting on me.
With FreeScan and my USB cable I had the 396XT loaded for bear and going
with in 30 mintues of unpacking the scanner.
First let me say the P25 is night to day from my old BCD396T, I still have a
whole lot to learn but so far loving the BCD396XT.

Cool, is that a true P25 system or Multi-mode Motorola system your digital sounds good on?

Both sound great..

Both sound great.
Been playing around with in for a few day's and so far I am more then pleased.
I still have alot more to learn with this new scanner but having a BCD396T and
BCD996 has helped alot with the learning of the new scanner.
