I-Call on Pro 96

Local PD uses digital trunking, receive that no problems. However from time to time officers request a "private call" from dispatch or another unit. Does anyone know how to monitor these?

Sorry, the Pro-96 cannot recieve I-Calls

GRE scanners (PRO96) will not receive I calls. Some UNIDEN will.

Try the Uniden br-396 for digital & the br-330t for analog

I would hope this would change on the next GRE Trunking Scanner, but time will tell. Not only will the 96/2096 follow I-Calls but it will not mute encrypted traffic on P25.

Never has a GRE scanner allowed I-Calls so there's no reason to expect that to change all of the sudden...

Uniden never had a scanner that had a two-tone decode before the 396/330, but they came out with one.
