I-call tracking on BC296D

I have a local wideband EDACS 9600 baud system that has alot of I-call traffic on it. Etrunker works fine, and I am able to track them at home. I have been drooling over the BC296D because of it's I-call tracking abilities plus portability, but I was just told that the 296D will only track I-call traffic on 3600 baud systems only!! Is this true?? I need to know before I fork out that kind of dough. Thanks in advance.

Yep, it's true. The Uniden's will only track I-CALLS on MOT 3600 baud systems. No 9600...

Thanks for the quick reply!! What about EDACS? Thats primarily what I'm worried about. Thankfully I have no 9600 baud Motorola systems here.

If you're referring to Narrow band EDACS, the BC296D should track I-Calls....
