I have been monitoring nothing but I-calls/Private Calls since I got my 796D and it sounds like the digital age is going to be here real soon in the Tulsa area. Here is a list I have so far...

738437 Life Flight Phone Patch to ERs with patient information

737858 Sapulpa PD units call this the supervisors channel

733039 Sapulpa PD Private Call

733051 Sapulpa PD Private Call

753568 Creek County SO Private Call?

712733 Telecom Radio Techs Testing Digital P-25

712712 Telecom Radio Techs Testing Digital P-25

I'll post more later as I identify them.

I heard that Broken Arrow has disabled their I call feature. Apparently some one in the administration thought that the troops were spending too much time on it so they cut it out. They do not have a talkaround channel
so they have have no way to tlk officer to officer.

I think I've spied more than a couple K-40 CB antenna's on some BAPD cars. Seems pretty common with other agencies too. That's thier talk-around.

I wonder if they turned the I-calls off for the other city departments as well? Sounds like BAPD will just have go 21 if they want to casual chat unless they are using CBs like TwoBravo said.

Are you saying that these ID's are Digital? I hear the Lifeflight one daily. I have always monitored I-calls on my 780 and hear all the stuff you have posted except for the digital testing.

Freqed,
No, just the ids that are marked P-25 digital. I heard 2 radio techs talking on them about software and modules etc. I have also heard TPD on them before using digital but I didn't get the id written down.

I am not sure. I know they did not like the cb's cause they thought they were using them to track supervisors. As far as the rest I can only speculate that it has something to do with Ba's isolation policy.
