I tried programing my BCD325P2 for York County, PA's P25 system, its a Harris P25 Phase 2 system. I can get a signal from my local site, and I see the channel Id's, but I don't hear any audio. I have a P25 Phase 2 system by Motorola already programed from my Primary Country and it works perfectly. But I can't get York's system. I manually programed the scanner. I am also close to a York County site for the weekend so I know it's not a signal problem. Any help?

In the Country all the frequencies are listed as control channels and I am getting a signal. But I did not program any talk groups, on my other system I didn't need to program the Talk groups but that was a Motorola sytem and not a Harris.

i hope you are searching the system using id search because without talk groups the system will not id scan because there is nothing there for it to scan.

The Hospital site is closest to me, but if I hold on the Site I get all the Singal Indicator Bars. I also have the scan mode set to ID Search but I can't pick anything up. I only heard about one second of audio once but that's it.

I am not from that area. I do go there to see family. I am not familiar with Hospital site as its not whats listed . I looked at all sites and see no mention of Hospital. Look at the 4 sites listed above and tell us what site your near. Or better, if you know what control channel you are receiving, post that..

You would not get a signal on all of them all at once. It's a trunked system. You will get a constant signal on the control channel, and when there is a call, it will switch to a another channel and you should hear voice. It sounds like its not programmed correctly. Are you using any software to program it or doing it all by hand? If your using software, can you export the .996 file and post it here?

I'm Programing it by hand unfortunately as I don't have the Programming cable. Also, all the frequencies in the York County system are control channels.

I guess what I meant by "all the frequencies in the York County system are control channels" and the "I can't get a Signal on all of them at once" was do I need to get all the control channels on a simulcast system at the same time more than meaning do I need all the frequencies at once.

You only need one active CC programed per site,
I received this info from DSD+ in December, whether the CC's are really changing or just potentially could change is unknown to me..
The CC frequencies are listed below in BOLD RED

If your near York Hospital I would think the Central Site CC is the one you need.

Network: 45DDD.037 ; York Co

Site: 10.10 ; North 700
