It doesn't matter what it costs, decoding an encrypted signal is illegal, and the end cost could make the purchase price look like pocket change.

If you would give your location, you would get more precise answers. Nothing in you post gives anyone a clue where you live.

I don't see anything on that site claiming it does anything with encrypted signals. Decoding vs decrypting are two very different things.

Yeah I'm only seeing "Automatic scrambling decryption" under NXDN. I guess that's why it's "decodio" and not "decryptio".

When you get into the commercial side of things, they're very different from anything designed for consumers so, in that respect such software + hardware as this company appears to be marketing would be targeted to business and government clients and again, things are totally different in those areas. Looks interesting, however, apparently a bit beyond anything that our typical SDR software right now (like SDR#, SDR-Console, HDSDR, etc) is capable of - at least so far.

"It's all about the software..." as is commonly understood with SDR - the software is the limitation far more so than the hardware anymore.

Lame.

This software is expensive - no prices on the website, targeting government and LE users, and look at the receivers they're paired with. And all they offer is NXDN 15 bit decryption?

I haven't mentioned anything about fast decryption software. I only stated that NXDN Scramble and TRBO Basic Privacy are weak forms of encryption compared to other formats (DES, AES etc).

That software is expensive.

It is used for the purpose of analyzing and monitoring TETRA, NXDN, DMR, dPMR, TETRAPOL, P25 systems. Not for decoding as thought. It is used for digital trunked radio systems.
The price for that software would cost the average man's yearly wages.
Google is your friend.
