ok so Maricopa county sheriff department went RWC digital but why is it still on motorola2 talk groups?
and If those frequencies are dead than why can't they put a new service in place
why can't they do some thing like that
or at least make a phoenix police dept bi frequencies RWC/ Motorola2
the best of both worlds in both service.
I think it be great idea

The Maricopa County Trunked system is a Motorola Type II mixed mode system. There are both digital and analog talkgroups on this system. When you look at the DB, anything with a "D" in the mode column is digital. All of the MCSO primary dispatch talkgroups are digital. You will need a digital scanner to listen to MCSO. They do have a few analog talkgroups that are active during events, but most everything else for MCSO is digital.
