I have a BC350C...

I am new to scanning, although I was familiar with this as a child with a simple tabletop scanner. Twenty years later, I now live in Louisiana and I am unsure if I have the correct piece of equipment to effectively scan in the Baton Rouge area. I am wondering if there are any other Louisiana scanners out there and what their successes are. I look forward to their feedback.

you're going to want at least a trunking capable scanner, prefferably one that does APCO25.

I agree, without a trunking type scanner, you are going to be pretty lost in the Baton Rouge area. In addition to the link provided in the previous post, take a look at the Baton Rouge Area Scanning page run by some locals there in BR.

Welcome to the site and the hobby!
