I have one in storage and quite frankly have no idea what to do with it.

I think the 2500 and the 1000 share the same software. I run my 2500 out of windows 10 no issue and I suspect 11 should also be working

I put my PCR-1000 up a couple years ago, great working receiver.
I recently dug it up and tried it but the software doesnt like my newer PC.
Like to find something that will work on Windows 10 pro 64 bit.
Might consider just selling it.

Got a link to your software ? all I have and can find is Version 2.2 from Icom. Another package (probe 1K ?) just has too much overhead.

Actually I think it is the 1500 not the 1000
In any case 1000 software is here if your browser does not support translation here is the DL link not sure will work.

Yes, and a question for you, the update, is that applied after installing the early version?

The update should just be the updated exe that would just replace the previous, you can install any version over the previous install.
Also donations aren't needed anymore as the base level is set to the $40 donation which should give you plenty of Scan Groups or Channels...
