WS1080: i have the 1080

have 1080 and am looking to buy the 1095 . can i just hook the 1095 up to my 1080 ez scan software and transfer it to the 1095 to make both scanners identical ? Also how is the volume on the 1095 it will be in my truck so wondering if its pretty loud . Thanks

The volume on the 1095 is pretty good - much louder than the handhelds.

Each model radio has it's own programming software - but you can make copies of your programming on the 1080 and copy it into the data files for the 1095. There are a few small changes needed since the mobile radios have a few minor differences (like a clock display on the mobiles). Then, you can copy the data to the radio just like you do with the 1080.

gotcha , thanks . i am selling my ws 1065 to get the 1095. 1065 volume is great i just dont want to get the 1095 and its gonna be lower.
