I know absolutely nothing about communications receivers. I was given a AR8600 Mark2 (perfect condition) 10 years ago. I recently opened the box. It has both a Japanese and English manual. Could anyone tell me how much it is worth?

One sold recently for $550 that included 5 optional modules:

Hi there Calisofa i would say between $500 To around $900 in working order . They sold new around $1,600 to $2,000 depending on where you bought the radio from . I have been the radio hobby since 1996 and have had many radios. Just look the radio up online under the name and you can find people on eham that have a review of the radio it a very good reciver for that price.

also for got about the slot card modules each one had to be bought one at a time a certain price or with the radio at extra cost. And there is also a optional bp8600 battery pack for mobile use or power outages. So if you have all the cards and the battery pack installed inside i would ask around $1,000 used .
