I have a hp-1, and I can't find the Permian Basin P25 system listed anywhere. I would live some help in this area. I would use my GPS, informally the connector on the hp-1 broke and I have not fixed it yet. Thanks in advance.

It's only going to be listed in the counties it is supposed to cover.

Make sure you have the latest database updates. Viewing the US Database in Sentinel, I picked Ector County (Odessa, TX). The system is listed there, under the "County Systems". The name in the database is Permian Basin Regional Interoperability Network.

If you'll go to the system's database page here on RadioReference, then click on the blue 20 counties in the county description, you'll get a pop-up listing the various counties for this system.

Thanks for your help. I did find in Andrews county on th hp-1 data base however it does not show in Ector, Midland, or Harris counties just to name a few. I was just through Odessa today with my pro-106 and everything worked fine, I left my hp-1 home because like I said in the title I must be blind. I did update my hp-1 database and the program assures me that I have the most current version. I'm not trying to cause problems, I'm new to the area and trying to figure things out. Again, thanks for all your help.

I see it in Ector, in Sentinel. There are three sites in that county.

However, one thing I've noticed on this system is that it lists at least one county that does not have a site, nor any affiliated talkgroups. Nolan County, which is the next county west of Taylor (Abilene) is shown as a member, but has no transmit site, and neither the next county west of them, Mitchell, or Sterling, if you're following I-20 west toward Midland, is a member of the system. You have to get to Glasscock, just east of Midland, to find the next participant. But it does not have a site either. At least, none listed. Future use, maybe?

It has been ages since I've been west Abilene, so I have not monitored this system at all.

I verified that the HP-1 DB does indeed contain an entry for every county assigned a site (plus some more, see below). I does not have Harris, as Harris county is not part of the system nor will it ever be, being nowhere near the Permian Basin. Perhaps you meant some other county. And you are not causing problems, but perhaps a trip to the optometrist is called for. :D

The complete list of counties for the system is:
Actor, Andrews, Borden, Brewster, Crane, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Glasscock, Howard, Jeff Davis, Loving, Martin, Midland, Nolan, Pecos, Reeves, Terrell, Upton, Ward, and Winkler
Now there is a problem with the list contained in the County link it does contain other counties that the system is not currently in. I am not sure why that is or who did it; however, I will not remove them but will add this to a "Housekeeping" submission. I suspect it is becuase that is the system will cover all that area, but I don't know. I do know that not having Ector in the list did not affect the HP-1 DB since there were sites in Ector Co.

Ok, I found the problem, I had to uninstall my sentinel program and reinstal it. Thanks for all the help, and yes Permian Basin is in all the counties it should be. Boy do I feel stupid.
