I have 2 PRO 2097's which do VA State and RSTARS just fine. But, when I try and use the same freq set on my PRO 96, I can't get state PD to work. Everything else is fine. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Pat

I just tried to up load VA State again and what I get is all the information but the VHF trunking frequencies are not showing up. Is there a setting I need to change for this type system?

Are you using Win96 and have you seen this Trunktrackers and STARS - The RadioReference Wiki ?

For the Pro-96 you will need to enter custom tables when programming the TRS. I was curious about the 2097's, because I could not remember what type of scanner they were. Do you mean 2096, by chance?

Actually PRO 197 Its the new version of the old PRO 2096/96, one being the base/mobile and the other the Handheld.

Thanks for the tip, I tried the custom table and still no joy on the State PD. I know I am doing something wrong, this set of freqs and TG's are the only thing on my old 96 I have not been able to get working. Very Frustrating. I have the right version of Win 96 and the firmware on the old 96 is the latest. There is one thing I did notice, the download from RR has spaces skipped on the table for the frequencies, I wonder if I move them all to 1-3 that it would help.

Appreciate the help!
