I need a utility to do a security wipe on two SSD's. I'm selling my Dell Precision Workstation a with it's two SSD"s. There is very sensitive information on the drives and I need a secure way to wipe them clean. Normal methods used on hard drives won't do the job on an SSD. Samsung's own utility will not recognize the PM871a as it is an O.E.M. drive they make for DELL.

Thanks

Back when I was the IT guy for a high school I used to use a utility call Killdisk.

I retired three years ago so I haven't needed to use it in several years.

Interesting, thanks for responding! As you probably know SSD's are quite different when it comes to deleting data 100%. You also have to be careful not to use conventional methods as it causes excessive ware and actually ruin an SSD. I'm going to download this and do some testing!
