I need Africa ssb phone

Of my confirmed contacts in Africa the majority were on 10m, but have worked them on all 5 bands 20m thru 10m. Just have to be in the right place, right time. Be prepared for a big Euro-pile when a band is open to Africa and the Indian Ocean islands. Good luck.

I use HamDXmap. a good live propagation/MUF display.
Often it has let me know when I can try QSOs to Australia or western Europe. Check it out.

CQ World Wide SSB contest is October 25-26. There will be many stations from Africa on the air. Looking at the scores from last year there were 86 stations that submitted logs from Africa.

Contest starts 00:00 UTC Saturday to 23:59 UTC Sunday. That is 7pm Friday to 6:59 pm Sunday your time.

The exchange is a signal report and your CQ Zone. You are in Zone 4. Your exchange would be "Five Nine Four"

You don't need to submit a log for scoring to participate.

The bands will be packed all weekend. Have fun.
