i need florence codes and signals please.

i live in the florence and darlington area and am totaly lost when it comes to the 10 codes signals and other codes i do have a copy of the new dispatch codes for ems but not for police and fire i know fire is useing something like the new ems but i have no idea how to understand it if anyone can help i thank you so much

For 10-codes, Florence and Darlington both use the SC Highway Patrol list. For signals, I'm afraid I don't have a list either, but I've been able to figure out a few of them.

Florence EMS and Fire/Rescue seem to use Num-Letter-Num codes in some pattern. I haven't worried about those too much since the dispatcher usually describes the situation after giving the code. (I was going to try to put a list together once, based on the ones I heard called and described, but it turned out to be too much to keep up with). Florence medical codes are like no other agency's I've heard in this state.

They might be using Advanced Medical Priority Dispatch System or AMPDS...I have a website HERE with a list of the most common AMPDS codes....hope this helps!

Gee, thanks. I checked out that list against the dispatches given over the past several days, and they seem to match up exactly. I had never heard of AMPDS before... thanks for shedding some light on that dispatching system.
