Pro-96: i need help for my pro96

Hi, I have a pro 96 and I don't know how to use it. ¿What is the letter D?
¿can you hear digital 137-174? ¿digital 400-520?
¿Being a digital scanner, can you hear dmr?

- A 'D' on the screen means the 'Delay' button has been pressed. The delay button stops the active scanning.
- The radio can't receive DMR

That radio is VERY old- it can't be upgraded for things like DMR. If you want that, get an Uniden....Mike

It covers 137-174 and 406-512. No DMR. Here is the owner's manual: 20-526.fm (scancat.com) Di you have a programming cable? You can use Butel ARC96 programming software.

It also covers the 860 and 1200 MHz bands, CB, and aircraft.

It is capable of P25 Phase 1 digital systems. It is not capable of trunk tracking 700 MHz frequencies.

Please review the first section of my post from yesterday, click wiki link. As we mentioned previously P25 Phase-I digital can also be monitored in addition to analog. One question you haven't answered is where are you from? (your location info isn't filled in) so we can check the database and determine if the Pro 96 is adequate enough to monitor what's in your area...
