I need some help!!!!!???

I am buying a radio from ebay that comes with 16ch and I need to get all of the frequencies that I want so he can program the radio for me prior to shipping it! So, I need the tx and rx plus the PL tones for Pender County EMS and Fire and Onslow Sheriff's office, Duplin Sheriff's Office, Wallace PD, and Highway Patrol's Car to Car high band in the 158mhz range! Any help??

It is really not that hard to program a radio yourself.

What type of radio are you buying?

It sounds like a commerical two-way radio. Motorolas are not easy to program with several hundred $$$$ of sofeware & equipment.

Unless the radio is dual band - which is not likely - it will not do what you want. Some of the agencies you mentioned are high band, and some are UHF. Pender EMS and Fire might also still use their old low band channels for tac purposes.

Since NCHP official authorization on its channels is rare and controlled, I would encourage you not to have the transmit frequencies / tones programmed in the radio without authorization. And get the authorization in writing.

If you plan on using the radio in a helicopter, make sure that the radio and the person installing it are licensed by the FCC / FAA. You might be putting you flight certificate for the aircraft at risk if you don't.
