I want a new scanner

I an looking at the uniden BCT8 but I don't know if it will pick up what I want. I would like to listen to Allen Texas Fire Dept. I have a PRO-94 but I want a scanner that I can program with a computer.

Allen is on the Plano system, and can be monitored with any scanner that will trunk-track Motorola Type II systems.
Some of the current models include the GRE-made Radio Shack Pro-97 as well as the Uniden BC246T.
Both of these can be programmed via computer.
