But if your ever in Crechale's, say on the weekend... I will wave at ya... or if your in Marcel's on Wednsday I will mix ya a drink...

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Milf, at least you're still speaking to us directly, and not from the Great Beyond. I live in an old city house myself; it has had wiring upgrades, but some concerns still cross my mind about the old wood and construction style. I trust (hope?) that everyone else involved is safe, and as for the radios, that's secondary.

And thanks to the folks with brains on the HC 911 BoS!

As for the City of Jackson's arguments that its the county blocking interop.... Seems to me they need to do the homework-

EDACS PV is NOT compatable without patches to the Motorola systems in use in ALL the surrounding communities!.....

How will going PV make them interop????

They got told the usual M/A-Com BS line......

Here is to hoping that the Hinds County 911 Commision will make city of Jackson see some light after the upcomming elections. It would only cost them 6/7 million to get on the HCTRS......... And then be fully interoperable with EVERYONE. Anyway....
