I really appreciate all your replies. I'm picking up a Transcend card, 16GB, as suggested by Upman. (R.I.P) I never had any issues with SD cards, but then again I probably don't use them as hard as most others. I also bought a card reader for this and for my Photography Habit.


Any comments would be appreciated.

ofd8001: Are you a photographer?

By the way for your info: I bought the HARD leather case from Scanner Master. Got it today. They are not kidding..it is very tough/hard and should put up with a bit of rough handling. (Not that mine is ever treated bad). Its for the occasional accidents.

I've been know to take a picture or two for the fire department. I use this card reader but had to supplement it with an XQD card reader when I did a camera upgrade last year. Still good for scanner cards.

I'm using the Transcend high endurance cards - ever since Upman suggested them - without any issues.
