I've never heard of that website for listening to the EMS, fire stations, etc. I do scan through the emergency bands on my 2m radio.

It's also an APP for cell phones. If you sign up as a paid member here, you get a subscription there. While I usually listen to all the local stuff on my personal scanners, I find the Broadcastify APP great for up to the minute happenings that often never make it to the national news. You can set alerts on your phone as well. It's an awesome program. If you have an Android phone, go to the Google Play store and check it out.
