As of yesterday Iberia Parish SO disappeared from their main Channel 154.695. They were active on that channel on Saturday. As of Sunday they were gone. I am wondering if they have made the switch to 700 LWIN or if they are using their 800 mhz system that they used every now and then for talk around. I am not able to receive thier 800 system from where I am and due to poor radio reception I am not able to recieve the Jeanerette tower that they would be using if they were on 700.
I did find this article in the Local Newspaper that was recently published on Feb. 10th. After reading the article I find it hard to belive they switched that quick from the 10th till now if they were just in the plaining stages. Also according to the article it looks like they will be encripted when they do, so no luck hearing them on the 700 system even though you have a 700 scanner.
