Have you called Icom parts department in Seattle? Make sure you have the Icom part number when you call, otherwise they’ll have a hard time knowing what you need.

I thought all parts for the 706 were out of production so I had not asked. I took your advice and did so just now. We shall see. Thanks.

Got a reply from Icom today. The handle is "NLA". No longer available.
