This topic has been discussed in a now closed thread. Thanks for the information discussed there. I just added a Palstar AT2K to my station, an incredible tuner. I know the calibration on its meter is very good. I noticed from the get go the meter on the Palstar did not agree with the metering on the 7300. The continuous carrier modes are dead on to the radio spec's but the SSB was not. While the 7300's power output showed 100% the meter on the Palstar does not show this, but it is showing the actual PEP watts. I was wondering about this but the earlier thread answered my question. The radio is working as it should so this question is no longer and issue.
