I'm getting a grasp on most of the functions of the R8600, but on page 11-4 of the instruction manual, in the Digital Set section, the first item is "Digital Monitor". Options are Auto, Digital, and Analog. It also refers to pushing the Dial-B button when in digital mode.
It almost sounds like it's supposed to do something my AOR DV1 does, which does digital auto-select with its built-on algorithms. The R8600 does not appear to do this, or am I missing something?
Right now, I can't really figure out what the Digital Monitor settings on the 8600 are all about. Cans someone kindly enlighten me.
