IC-R30 - direct base station equivalent?

Hello,

I am wondering if Icom will develop a direct equivalent of the handheld IC-R30. Uniden and Whistler have their pairs with same functionality. IC-R8600 is not the same as it does not have Dual Watch, which is very important for me.

How do you think? Do you know somebody from Icom to ask about it?

One can always hope, but the Rxx00 line and the Rx0 (even the Rx line) lines have never really been produced in conjunction with one another as base/handheld equivalents.
